Our Story
Snagging, defects, fault finding - they all mean the same thing. These snags can range from small cosmetic defects to structural issues, which if left un-noticed can cause costly repairs in the future once your warranty period has expired. At House to Home Inspections we are here to detect issues which have been overlooked by the builder and slipped through the net of their own quality control.
Through our near decades worth of experience within the building industry we have an in-depth knowledge of regulations, building control, NHBC Standards and builder 'tolerances'. Over this period we have seen re-occurring and common defects, including seeing the long term outcome of careless workmanship which has been left unchecked. House to Home inspections was formed to support the homeowner to receive the quality new home they have been promised.

“New homes are built by human hands so they will never be perfect but this does not mean they should be substandard.”
Pre-Completions
This inspection takes place prior to the final handover of the property and provides you with valuable insights into its condition. Our inspections follow the comprehensive RPSA check sheet in line with The New Homes Property Ombudsman. By identifying these concerns early on, you can address them with the developer before taking ownership, giving you greater peace of mind and confidence in your investment.
Post-Completions
Once you've received the keys to your new home and legal ownership has been transferred, it's time for a post-completion inspection. With fewer restrictions compared to pre-completion inspections, we can delve deeper into potential issues and provide you with a comprehensive assessment of your new home's condition. This ensures that your new home meets the quality standards you expect.
